This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses PoweAI. It is part of our Terms of Service. It protects your customers, our platform partners and the people your messages reach.

Use PoweAI lawfully

Do not use PoweAI to break any law or regulation, infringe anyone's rights, or help anyone else do so.

Messaging rules

Only message people who agreed to hear from you, and always honor STOP.

  • Do not send texts, WhatsApp messages, calls or emails without the consent the law requires, including under the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and state telemarketing laws.
  • Honor opt-out requests made by any reasonable means, promptly and in any case within 10 business days.
  • Do not send spam, purchased or rented lists, or messages that hide who you are.
  • Do not send content restricted by wireless carriers or WhatsApp, including content about illegal substances, and follow carrier rules for regulated categories such as alcohol, firearms and tobacco.
  • Respect quiet hours and any stricter state rules for marketing messages.

Responsible AI use

  • Do not use PoweAI to make consequential decisions about individuals (employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, health care or legal services) without meaningful human review.
  • Do not present AI-generated messages as written by a human when sincerely asked, or where the law requires disclosure.
  • Do not use PoweAI to generate deceptive content, fake reviews or testimonials, impersonate others, or create misinformation.
  • Do not use PoweAI to discriminate against anyone based on a protected characteristic.
  • Do not use PoweAI in violation of our AI providers' usage policies, which we pass through to you.

Data you connect

  • Connect only accounts and data you are authorized to use.
  • Do not use PoweAI to process protected health information unless we have signed a business associate agreement with you. PoweAI is not currently offered for HIPAA-regulated use.
  • Do not upload payment card numbers, bank account numbers or government ID numbers except where a feature specifically requests them.
  • Do not knowingly process data about children under 13.

Protecting the platform

  • Do not probe, scan or test our systems for vulnerabilities without written permission. Report security issues to security@poweai.com instead.
  • Do not circumvent usage limits, authentication or security controls.
  • Do not scrape, reverse engineer or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Do not upload malware or use PoweAI for phishing or fraud.
  • Do not interfere with other customers' use of the Service.

Enforcement

If we believe this AUP has been violated, we may remove content, pause messaging, suspend features or accounts, or terminate the Service, as described in our Terms. Where practical, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue. Report abuse to abuse@poweai.com.
